I’m Itamar Buhnik (25, he/him), graphic designer based in Haifa with a bachelor degree in Visual Communication from Bezalel Academy for art and Design. I specialise in branding, print and typography.
I often deal with social issues and the relationship between visual culture and political climate. I aim to apply my skills and knowledge to raise awareness of urgent topics and use visual communications tools to strengthen solidarity and create bridges between communities.
I have experience in designing for cultural fields with an emphasis on the nightlife scene. I’m interested in local design that is connected to Mediterranean traditions with a contemporary twist. I believe in eye-level design that uses the exsiting unfair system to create a fair and just society.
